The writers of this blog have had a lifelong love affair with music, but music refuses to leave its wife and kids. As such, we decided to get together and start a blog about the music that influenced us this decade. Our mission is twofold:
1. September – October: We have each compiled separate lists of songs from this decade that influenced us. We will be talking about them and their personal effect on us each day for these two months.
2. November – December: We will compile a master list of albums from this decade that were great. Three criteria will be used to compose this list (1. Were songs from the album featured on the OC? 2. Did Kanye interpolate it? 3. Would Dilbert have enjoyed it?). Once it has been composed, we will write essays about those albums, where they fit into our lives over the past ten years and why we think they have merit.
