We are the editorial board of Le Aught Blog:

Clark: publishes as leaughtblog. Clark Rosensweig was raised in the Jewish ghettoes of Delray Beach, FL. From a young age, he was taught to appreciate music by his father, Elvis Costello’s accountant Harvey Rosensweig and his mother, famous klezmer accordionist Esmerelda Rosensweig. As he matured, he began to come into his own musically. He first picked up the saxophone after a brief obsession with the smooth jazz of Kenny G, and though his love for Mr. G’s music faded, he continued to play. Clark is also an accomplished bassist, and during his time at Harvard College was bassist for such bands as The Natural Progression, Guaranteed Swahili, JC & the Crucifunxion, and Hot Sauce & the Angry Burritos (as an aside, it is a little known fact that The Hold Steady started as a Guaranteed Swahili cover band before switching to their current musical stylings which would eventually delight both our ears and our hearts). While he now rarely plays either instrument due to Los Angeles’ Puritanical noise laws, Clark remains an avid music appreciator, and when he isn’t writing about music he’s frequenting shows of his favorite bands.

Drew: We describe our writers here at Le Aught Blog as serious, passionate, and professional. Perhaps, we should also say: creative, playful and funny. Drew Rosensweig, who publishes as thisishowwebalkonthemoon, is all of those. Drew hails from Delray Beach, FL, where he is known in some circles by the moniker “Senor Holiday.” A recent graduate of American University and an aspiring writer and filmmaker, Drew hopes to someday be remembered as his generation’s Nora Ephron. When he is not watching Tivo’ed episodes of iCarly and lounging about in swimming trunks as though they’re actual shorts, Drew is penning food-inspired rhymes under the name Just Desserts; critics have described his flow “low-grade Tourette’s.” His Chobosky-inspired memoir, I Just Wanna Have Relations Without Complications, is slated for release in 2015.

Jerry: publishes as drjerbear. Jerry is a first-year resident at a hospital attached to the University of Washington in Seattle. Born and raised in New York near the Canadian border, Jerry developed an affinity for Canadian blend coffees, old school rap, and Sweden. He started playing the saxophone at the age of three, but didn’t get serious about it until the age of four. He loves these things in the following order: birds, infectious diseases, Darwin’s delicious sandwich The Gerry, Trader Joe’s, and women. He likes to leave a pair of green silk gloves with all of his sexual conquests.

Josh: publishes as joshlevitz.

Lindsay: publishes as seriousglee. Lindsay, more well known as Lady Zo, is from the part of Philadelphia that’s in New Jersey. She ran WVAU, American University’s student radio station, for two refulgent years, bringing DC the best indie shows while also hurting Brightest Young Things’ feelings. Her senior thesis, “Depictions of Ophelia in Season 3 of Perfect Strangers,” elicited academic responses ranging from “Brilliant!” to “Shakespeare’s gay.” In the last three months, Lindsay has discovered post-19th century fiction, and she thinks it’s a hoot (but not as much as any Nora Ephron film.) In the past, she’s mainly blogged about snacks. Some people think she’s dating the one straight guy in Grizzly Bear, but no one can confirm his sexual orientation. Her mom might be Bonnie Hunt.

Ryan: publishes as iamasura.
